Rafting We recently did the White River Bamboo Rafting with Calypso. Very relaxing way to spend an hour down the beautiful river. Our guide was great and pointed out several things down the river. Stopped off halfway for refreshments at some local huts. A lovely experience.

Lazy trip tubing the White River Excellent and just what we were looking for while enjoying the river. After the Blue Hole, we wanted more river time and this was it. Sit in a tube and float through the rapids. About 40 minutes floating and 20 minutes at the (authentic jerk cooking) half way point. Little adventure on the short rapids and some relaxing time for the rest. Or, you can use the bamboo rafts (pretty cool). Water temperature was perfect for the day...river was shaded with lots of trees over-hanging. Great morning on the White River.

Beautiful, relaxing river tubing We had a great river tubing experience with Dwight as our guide. It was just our group of 4 tubing down the White River. What a beautiful trip with a few mild rapids toward the beginning followed by a relaxing float. Trip was approx 40 minutes, wish it was longer. Make it a point to stop by Calypso tubing whether on a cruise stop or while staying at a local resort. You will not be disappointed.

River rafting with Honey It was a nice, fun time with Capt Jack. Great guy. Enjoy the ride down and stop off near bottom for a quick swim, jump, swing or beverage (drinks are not included but cheap). Lots of fun. Great views of the tropical trees and flowers. Have fun. ????

Third time & everyone loves it! This is my third time visiting Jamaica and third time tubing down the white river. It’s perfect for children (we have three young ones) and it is safe and fun. Our river guide - DWIGHT - was f a n t a s t i c! With three little ones, he managed to keep us all together down the river while singing great tunes we all knew. We stopped at the little area halfway through and I enjoyed a red stripe while my husband and our kids swung on the swing in the middle of the river. Our kids LOVED this because it was just enough excitement (small rapids) coupled with just enough “chill” 🙂

Rollin on the river Our guide Damian was great. Very knowledgeable & made the trip very enjoyable. We were less like clients & more like old friends enjoying the afternoon! Fun Tubing It was a short but very good tube ride down the river. There were small rapids to make it interesting. The river is very safe - able to stand up throughout the ride. The guides kept people together and kept us moving. Cruise recommended insect spray but we didn’t and didn’t see a bug. Overall we would recommend.

Favorite excursion of entire cruise! My family and I (three generations) booked the blue hole and tubing through Patrice Bailey (patricebailey.com) and it was perfect (and affordable). Even my mother, who has mobility issues, was able to get in on the action. We absolutely loved tubing down the Jamaican river. The guides were wonderful and did such a wonderful job. Our ages ranged from 10-72 and everyone had a great time! We would highly recommend booking transportation through Patrice Bailey!! Our driver was waiting for us at the cruise port with our name on a sign (even though we were almost an hour late because our cruise ship lost power as we were attempting to disembark). Such a fun experience and our favorite stop on our cruise!
